Hospital for Special Surgery
Since 2006, the Hospital for Special Surgery has partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters on the Workplace Mentoring Program. Through this partnership, 10 HSS employees serve as mentors to NYC public high school students. HSS Bigs play a critical role in teaching their Littles skills that will prepare them for college and the workforce, including resume writing, networking, and public speaking.
HSS Bigs have the goal to raise $5,000 for this year’s fourteenth annual BBBS Walk for the Kids, in partnership with Nickelodeon’s Worldwide Day of Play. Walk for the Kids generates more funds for BBBS programming than any other annual event, and helps us serve more than 5,000 youth across all five boroughs of New York City. Any amount, great or small, helps BBBS change the lives of underserved children by providing them with caring adult mentors who expand their horizons and enrich their futures.
Thank you for your generous support!
