Thank you for visiting my Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City Walk for the Kids!
July 8th will mark my 4th year working at Big Brothers Big Sisters. I have seen the AMAZING impact this mentoring program has on NYC youth and how invaluable a relationship with a positive role model can have on a student. I can tell you first hand - this is a non-profit that WORKS. In fact, the graduation rate for NYC public school students is 64.2 percent but 97 percent of our high school seniors graduate and 95 percent of our students enroll in college.
However, none of this could be done without funding raised by annual events such as Walk for the Kids (WFK), which takes place on September 15th. WFK is a day that celebrates the power of mentoring and the amazing impact Big Brothers Big Sisters has made on the lives of so many kids.
I will be fundraising to help support this inspirational cause, and I am encouraging you to help my fundraising efforts with a donation. Any amount, great or small, allows Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City to help under-served children by providing them with caring adult mentors who help to expand their horizons and enrich their futures.
Join me in my efforts to support Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City as I participate in the Annual Walk for the Kids!
